Press Release- Motor Vehicle Crash On Sunday, January 26, 2014 the Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash which occurred at approximately 11:06 pm on the Black Horse Pike in the area of the Harbor Mall, in the Cardiff section of the township. The 2005 Nissan Pathfinder operated by German G Gomez-Miralda, 40 years of age of Egg Harbor Township, was proceeding West on the Black Horse Pike at high rate of speed when he lost control, left the roadway, struck a light standard, rolled over and came to rest on the west bound shoulder. Gomez-Miralda was treated at the scene by the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare Paramedics. He was transported to AtlantiCare City Campus Trauma Center with moderate to serious injuries. Traffic was detoured for approximately 2 hours while the crash was being investigated and cleared. The crash is being investigated by Officers Robert Moran and Louis Poletis.
