I look forward to working with the board along with PJ Mir and rest of the team, not forgetting Natasha Rabia Ahmed-Shaikh who was brilliant host last night. I just want to say the unsung Asian heroines of British life. Such women and men make a huge contribution in fields as diverse as business, entrepreneurship and social and humanitarian work. These awards, are their moment in the spotlight.was held at last night Shehneela said The special guests who were recognised for their achievements, are incredible people and have not only done well for themselves but also contributed to the British community which has embraced us so beautifully. They are a fantastic showcase of the phenomenally talented Asian people in the UK today and I encourage you to get involved in this years campaign. Each year we are humbled by the wealth of talent showcased at the awards and the stories of achievement across British life. The awards are a great way to celebrate the broad range of achievements of Asian heros in Britain, and to encourage future successes. Too many Asian talents go unrealised in Britain today, yet we would all benefit as a nation if they could be unleashed. So lets all get behind our Overseas Pakistan Trust Awards.
