Press Release 11th Oct 2014 Panaji Goa Aam Aadmi Party has launched a nation wide program of Mission Vistar in which it is reaching out to thousands of people who have reposed faith in it and are looking for taking up active roles and responsibilities within the party. Party has set up an ambitious target of having its volunteers in all the booths of the country in next one year. The process has already started in around 20 states of the country and Goa is one of them. Though people had a lot of expectations from the current Goa government when it was voted to power, their expectations have been belied thoroughly. They have realized that there is not much of a difference between the current government and the past government of Congress. Both the parties have not shown any commitment in rooting out corruption from the government nor have they taken any specific steps to tackle the issues plaguing Goa such as Mining, Regional Plan, Casinos, Lokayukt, RTI etc. People have seen the strategic U-turn taken by the present government on all such important issues very closely. More and more people of Goa are joining Aam Aadmi Party with the staunch belief that only AAP can take care of the issues which are so important for them to be resolved as this is the only party which believes in working with the people and solving the issues by taking them along. They have seen the kind of impact the Aam Aadmi Party had on corruption in Delhi when it was in government and they feel that similar impact can be achieved in Goa too. Mr. Subhash Lomte and Mrs. Salma Kulkarni from Maharashta have been entrusted with the positions of Observers for Goa and will very shortly announce a Mission Vistaar team in Goa which will take up the task of building the team till the booth level and hold elections at various levels and build the party from grassroots. We invite all the citizens of Goa to join us and be part of this process of nation building.
