Press Release(7/3/13): Drug Arrests And A Warrant Arrest. On 7/2/13 at approx 2:47AM a Hackettstown Police Officer was on routine patrol when the officer observed suspicious activity around a vehicle in the parking lot of 700 Grand Ave. Through an investigation it was determined that 18yro Mariah Brown of Hackettstown, NJ had in her possession 7 capsules containing suspected ecstasy, 25 empty capsules containing suspected ecstasy residue and a scale with suspected ecstasy residue. Also 22yro Nicholas Cash of Long Valley, NJ had in his possession 2 capsules containing suspected ecstasy. Nicholas also had a $300.00 Roxbury Twp municipal court traffic warrant. Mariah was charged with possession of ecstasy and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mariah was unable to post the $5,000.00 bail and was then lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility. Nicholas Cash was charged with possession of ecstasy. Nicholas was unable to post the $7,500.00 bail and was then lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility. On 7/2/13 the Hackettstown Police arrested 21yro Stephen Orsini of Sewell, NJ on a $166.00 Hackettstown municipal court warrant. Stephen posted the bail and was then released.
