Press Release: Chapman for Sheriff My Personal taxes are current in fact I received a refund in March 2013. What‘s being questioned now are my business taxes for Chapman Investigations, Inc. The facts are when I changed accountants in January 2013 these problems were found and since that time we have been working to correct them. This included submitting the forms and contacting the IRS to fix the problem financially. I was referred to a field agent who offered me a payment arrangement of $500.00 per month that is drafted out of my Business account on the 15th of each month. I signed the agreement and submitted the same day. The taxes are on me as an employee of Chapman Investigations, Inc and 100% of them will be repaid. In July 2013 a letter came from the IRS detailing the 500.00 agreement and this was the first time I had seen anything about a lien on my home. I contacted the IRS and was told this would be dropped after 3 successful payments. Thank you, Kevin Chapman
