Press Release For immediate publication Aleppo - Aleppo Press Center (APC SY) sadly informs that one of its coordinators, Yosef Abobaker, his brother, two of his relatives, American journalist Steven Sotloff, and their driver, got kidnapped near As-Salamah crossing, near the Syrian-Turkish, on their way back to Aleppo. They were last seen on Sunday, August 4th, 2013. Kidnapping journalists, Syrians and foreigners, is a crime against the Syrian Revolution, the Freedom of Speech and the Freedom. We condemn vigorously the kidnapping of any civilian, and call on all parties to free our colleagues, other kidnapped as well as foreign journalists, and ensure their safe return to their families and beloved one.
