Press-Release: Harassment of Dogri scholar by guide JURSEA Protest against VC JU, Block the road Jammu, Dec 16: Angered over hostile attitude shown by Vice Chancellor towards a Dogri scholar, who had alleged molestation by her guide, JURSEA today protest against VC University of Jammu. Around 200 jursea activists including students of Jammu University assembled in front of Jammu University gate and block the road one and half hour, amid raising slogans against varsity authorities and in favour of their demand of immediate suspension of VC and professor Shiv Dev Singh Manhas. Addressing media persons, JURSEA President Sukhdev Singh expressed surprise over the news published in news paper in which university authorities has claimed that VC had never met the aggrieved scholar but the fact is that she (aggrieved scholar) had met with VC in the presence of DR Deptt. Of Dogri. Singh demanded the lie detector test of VC to know the truth in this regard.
