Press Release North Leeward Queen Show Six gorgeous ladies will contest the prestigious Miss North leeward Queen Show 2013, at the Petit Bordel hard court, this Friday, as activities for the North Leeward carnival climax this weekend. The six beauties are; Miss Troumaca, 18 years old Fayasha Lewis sponsored by Providence Electronic Solution; Miss Chateaubelair , 16 year old Kayana Stephens sponsored by Sensaytionz Limited, Miss Petit Bordel , 16 year old Ocean Edwards, sponsored by Chance Unique Furniture ;Miss Rose Bank 19 years old ,Kaywana Laborde,sponsored by Das Entertainment, Gold Fever j’ouvert band , Miss Fitz Huges , 17 years old ,Deshia Murray, sponsored by Skittles J’ouvert band and 19 years old Shakelia Anthony , representing Miss Golden Groove and sponsored by Chateaubelair Service Station. The six contestants were well received during a parade through the constituency on Sunday 2nd, and most demonstrated confidence while speaking to the media. There will be judging in four categories; Best Interview, Best talent, Best Evening Wear, Best Swim Suite. A special award will be giving for the most popular person on facebook. The event is also expected to see performance from the energetic Delroy “Fire man” Hooper, and former Calypso Monarch, Maxwell “Tajoe” Francis, among other artists. Pageant Coordinator for the Miss North Leeward Queen show, Rolmina Matthews, is appealing to persons in the North Leeward constituency, to come out and show their support, noting that the event promises to be bigger and better this year. Matthews while expressing confidence in the young ladies stated “I promise they won’t be disappointed. Public Relation Officer of the North Leeward Sports Association, the organization for carnival activities in the Constituency, Kenville Horne is also appealing to person to show their supports for the contestant. He explained that entering a pageant is not easy, and takes courage, “these young ladies have dedicated their time and effort to entertain and please the viewing public, so treat them with respect, they are all queen in their own rights”. He appeals for peace during the climax of the carnival activities in the community, “we don’t want anyone to fight, which result in a premature end to the carnival activities and a distaste to revelers, the police have a zero tolerance with regards to fighting”. Kenesha Edwards is the reigning Miss North Leeward. The carnival activities will conclude on June 8 with a j’ouvert and an evening jump-up, featuring j’ouvert Band, “Gold Fever”. Kenville Horne (Mr)
