Press Release Srinagar\07\: Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Geelani have fallen ill and from last night his health has deteriorated and he his feeling weakness in his body. Hurriyat Conference are appealing pro-freedom people to hold special prayers for the recovery of Geelani sahab. In Friday’s press release, while giving the details about the health of Geelani Sahab, Hurriyat Spokesman Ayaz Akbar said that though he was unwell from last few days but from last night his chest infection has increased and he is feeling ache in whole body and due to the chest congestion, he is feeling problems in taking food properly. Spokesman said that Geelani Sahab’s weight has decreased 10 kgs and he is feeling weakness. Many tests were conducted to Geelani Sahab last week in Escorts hospital in New Delhi where Dr. Sameer Koul also examined him. When Geelani sahab reached Srinagar on 05 March, he was having chest infection, which increased on 6th March and from last night he felt very uneasiness. Dr. Naveed Nazir himself conducted his checkup and prescribed some medicine and Geelani sahab is taking medicine accordingly. Central leadership of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat conducted a meeting at Hyderpora in which hospitalization issue of Geelani Sahab was discussed, but he refused and then it was decided that in the morning of 8th March they will once again discuss this issue. Hurriyat Conference has appealed pro-freedom people to organize special prayers for the recovery of pro-freedom leader, however Hurriyat spokesman requested the people that Geelani Sahab is not in position to meet anybody so when he will get ok, everybody will be allowed to meet him.
