Press Release: Subject: Traffic Stop Yields Drug Arrest Date: January 5, 2015 On Monday, January 5, 2015 at approximately 3 PM a traffic stop was conducted on a motor vehicle being driven by Ahmed Pryor for speeding on St Rt 307. During the traffic stop the Deputy smelled the odor of what appeared to be marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Pryor denied being in possession of anything illegal. A FCSO K-9 unit was brought to the scene and a perimeter search was performed around the vehicle; the handler stated the K-9 made a positive indication on the vehicle. Pryor was removed from the vehicle and a felony amount of high grade marijuana (Blackberry Cush), marijuana seeds, digital scales, and baggies were found in different areas within the vehicle. US currency was taken off Pryor. Ahmed Pryor a black male, DOB 01/23/1982 from Fulton, KY was charged with the following: Speeding 71/55 MPH Zone, License To Be In Possession, Trafficking Marijuana (8oz to 5 lbs) 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy / Possess. Pryor was transported to the Fulton County Detention Center and will be arraigned in the Fulton County District Court on Tuesday, January 06, 2015. All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
