Press Release: WTPD2014-05818 08/28/2014 @ 19:45 Washington Township Police were dispatched to an active retail theft at Walmart– Rouzerville Commons, 12751 Washington Township Blvd. Upon arrival Walmart Associates told Officers they observed one male place a computer and monitor in a shopping cart, and observed another male removed the security devices from the computer and monitor. One of the suspects attempted to leave the store and the Officer stopped him to question him, while another Officer went inside the store to make contact with the other suspect. Both suspects were questioned where they admitted they had started at the Chambersburg Walmart with the intent to take merchandise, but choose to leave because they were being watched, they then went to the Shippensburg Walmart where they stole computer merchandise, then proceeded to the Rouzerville Walmart with the intention of stealing the computer. The stolen computer merchandise from the Shippensburg Walmart was located in the suspects car, parked in the Rouzerville Walmart parking lot. After completing an investigation, Police charged Wayne Starliper, 42,3068 Winchester Ave., Martinsburg, WV and Anthony Marshall, 21, 28 Wilson St., Martinsburg, WV with retail theft for attempting to steal a computer and monitor valued at $518.00. Police have also charged Anthony Marshall with possession of drug paraphernalia. Both men were arrested and taken to Franklin County Jail.
