Press Release for October 28, 2013 Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports: The following events were reported on October 25, 2013: Officers responded to the Police Department Lobby in reference to a report of Vandalism. Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive in reference to questions a regarding an Order of Protection. Officers responded to Probation and Parole in reference to an Agency Assist. Officers took Weed and Nuisance Property Reports on North Carolina and New Hampshire. Officers assisted Ambulance Personnel on Logan Street and Cumorah Way. Officers completed VIN Inspections on Wyoming Drive, Clear View Drive and at the Police Department. Animal Control Officers responded to reports of Dogs at Large at Smith’s Food and Drug and on Uinta Drive. Officers responded to an address on Fir Street in reference to assist the Green River Fire Department on a Fire Alarm. The alarm was determined to be accidental. Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive in reference to a report of a Suspicious Person. Officers responded to an address on Juniper Street in reference to a report of Fraud. Officers responded to an address on Schultz Street in reference to an Accidental 911. Officers responded and confirmed the call was Accidental. Officers responded to Hitching Post Drive in reference to a REDDI report. Officers were unable to locate the Suspect Vehicle. Officers responded to an address on South 5th East Street in reference to Civil Issues. The following events were reported on October 26, 2013: Officers responded to Wells Fargo Bank in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival Officers were able to determine the alarm was a malfunction. Officers responded to an address on South 4th West in reference to a report of a Disturbance. Officers responded to West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a report of Suspicious Circumstances. Officers assisted Medical Personnel on Clark Street. Officers responded an address on Maryland Drive in reference to a Citizen Assist. Officers responded to an address on Cumorah Way in reference to questions concerning a vehicle title. Officers responded to Adams Street in reference to a report of a Vehicle Accident. Officers arrested Jakob Taggart, age 27, on Cumorah Way, for an Arrest Warrant for Failure to Maintain Liability Coverage and No Valid Vehicle Registration. During the arrest of Taggart, Jessica Murphy, age 23, was issued a Citation for Interference with a Police Officer after she lied to Officers regarding the location of Taggart. Officers responded to Castle Rock Medical Center in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival Officers determined the alarm was accidental. Officers responded to an address on Barnhart Street in reference to a report of a Disturbance. Officers later located and arrested Danny Sanchez, age 43, for Public Intoxication. Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive in reference to a report of Suspicious Circumstances. Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard in reference to a report of a Domestic Disturbance. Animal Control Officers responded to an address on South 5th East Street in reference to a report of a Cat in a Trap. The following events were reported on October 27, 2013: Officers responded to an address on Schultz Street in reference to a report of a Hit & Run. Officers responded to Maverik in reference to a REDDI Report. Officers responded to an address on South Dakota Street in reference to a report of a Domestic Disturbance. Officers responded to Pizza Hut in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival Officers determined the alarm was accidently set off by an employee. Officers assisted Wyoming Highway Patrol with a Vehicle Accident on I-80. Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive in reference to a report of a Suspicious Vehicle. Officers responded to an address on Nolan Street in reference to a Fire Alarm. Upon arrival Officers determined the alarm was set off by a smoke detector but everything was alright. Officers responded to an address on Virginia Drive in reference to an alarm. The alarm was determined to be accidental. Officers responded to the Super 8 Motel in reference to a report of a Disturbance. Officers responded to an address on Trona Drive in reference to a report of a Domestic Disturbance.
