Pressious and priceless If you ever have good reason To cast away hope in despair Dont forget your heart still beats in perpetual motion And if ever you feel inclined To doubt that your soul is of worth Then think to yourself where did I get such a preposterous notion You first must believe there are forced That desire to drag you down And cast you away like a rag doll And grind you into the ground Its then you must ask the question Is it really as true as it sounds Its then youll discover your soul is precious and priceless If you think about all of the elements that cause your body to flow Then ask yourself the question who bothered to make it You might find your self in denial refusing to comprehend But your perpetual beating heart wont allow you to fake it Who do you think wants to break you And cause you to fall to the dark Who you think wants to own you And smother your final spark If you fear just remember that darkness cant exist in the presence of light Its then youll discover your soul is precious and priceless And what of the one who believes in you Can you hopelessly turn a blind eye Ironically he cured the lame the infirmed and the blinded In your deepest depths of despair Would he leave you high and dry With all thats been said do you need to ask such a question Who do you think wants to hold you And lift you above all your fears Who do you think wants to drown you in all of his joyous tears And who do you think wants to raise you to stand upon equal ground And help you discover your soul is precious and priceless
