Pressure IV All who compete endure the pressure of the competition! I want to strengthen and encourage you this morning. For I feel it in my spirit...there are some of you who feel: I am so close to falling and so close to my breakthrough! I know because to be honest and transparent I feel the same way. Yet will I trust Him! For this pressure only means you are close to the end of this race, this season, this trial and the finish line is in sight, even though you may not see it. Keep going and you will see that that which I speak is Truth. Commit this scripture to heart... Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. The Word declares, ...WHO FOR THE JOY THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM, HE ENDURED THE CROSS... That joy was you and I! And my joy is HIM! This to is my prayer and my motivation to continue to press onward and upward, despising the shame, that for the joy that is set before me....I will endure the pressure! Because HE is my reward!
