Pressure can do anything. Oh yes, people sell their children under pressure. We should look beyond the immediate signs and see the deepest causes of such a behaviour. For the man to have made moves to get back to the children means he is not wicked. He is only responding to economic pressure. Ok let us look at the what ifs. What if he took them to the village which is an option, we do not know the level of relationship that exists with the villagers, given superstitious beliefs. What if out of the hardship, he stops them from schooling and engages them in street trading, ahaa, the NGOs responsible will come knocking on his door. The truth is that the government has created a criminal atmosphere,where humans have been debased to lower ANIMALS employing the word SURVIVAL. Truth be told....If we do not do anything to change the government,to change the people who run our affairs and make them more responsible, to eschew sycophancy and the expensive government system, to impress upon our rulers the need for care for the citizens of this country, we will keep having terrible stories like this and the lazy people can only say they are praying and hoping for things to be good, while the perpetrators are having a field day, exploiting people. WAKE UP PEOPLE
