To all my friends in Taiwan, A colleague of mine, Jay Billones hometown in the Philippines was all but destroyed by Yolanda (Haiyan) and my school, Kang Chiao International School, is joining in the Philippines relief effort. She will be sending relief goods back home and is asking for any old clothes, slippers, blankets, candles (no electricity and might take months to restore), whatever goods you can give. We want to collect as much as possible until this Friday and then Jay will ship it out over the weekend. The town council in the Philippines will help by identifying communities that need help the most and Jays family will then distribute the goods to them.
