Pretty funny, but this deal is not for the people... Those ads on the walls of college and university financial aid offices and other campus parts, claiming you will make $55,000 with an A.A./A.S. degree and $80,000 with a B.A./B.S., are out right lies and propaganda! When I received my A.A. degree in biological sciences and went to work, I was making less money than when I used to work as a chef before going back to school! And the jobs were all dead end jobs, and all of them were not even relevant to what I had studied. I am stilling waiting for that day to make more many than I was a chef, and now I got my B.A. degree in biology from California State University, Northridge with a campus GPA of 4.0. I believe that with odd end jobs, I have made perhaps 1/10 (being modest) of what I have invested into this education project. Education doesnt pay what it used to, so its a big lie that education will get you more money. When I was taking a speech course, our instructor told me of this guy he knows, whose nephew works at a Vegas hotel and casino, not a big one, just a minor one, and makes nearly $100K/year, and has barely a high school education. Not saying educating yourself is bad, but we need to find a way to make it cheaper, more enjoyable and more rewarding. Deals like this one seal in those $200+K/year deals for counselors and school admins., and Ph. D.s that teach simple biology and math and chemistry, and get paid $80-100K/year. I have used one of those YouTube free tutoring services in Organic chemistry and it made all the difference, and I have seen how some stranger, without a Ph. D., perhaps even a student still, teaches you better than your own instructors can at your own school, and they claim they have Ph. D.s and what not, and must take home MORE MONEY to teach even better. Well the guy teaching it online, on YouTube, for free, seems to be doing a much better job and you say what... you need more than $80+K/year??? These deals are for the higher ups, not for parents or students! But I was in it myself. I understand its tough. Its tough to stand up; some even defend the SYSTEM! I call it the college version of the Stockholm Syndrome. Students are afraid to say or do anything because the instructors and schools have their grades and what they claim is their future in hostage. LOL... but what future, becoming a prestigious university graduate, and then end up serving coffee at Starbucks =( https://facebook/yaliberty/photos/a.420478680196.191456.13187955196/10152651441860197/?type=1
