Pretty much everyone knows about floaters: those tiny clusters of cells that float in the vitreous humor and which are sometimes visible as the light entering the pupils casts faint shadows of the floating obstacles onto the retinas. (I think there might be a secret there that will help us learn to sense a non-physical fluid interconnectivity between all organic lifeforms.) But does anyone else ever see those translucent tadpole-type objects occasionally dart through the soupy background of floater stew while swerving and undulating their ephemeral flagella? What are those things?
