Pretty much the first question I get asked for stallion enquiries is will I get spots or something to that effect, the short answer is I cant guarantee it every time, which is a shame but the lovely colouring isnt the only reason to use an Appaloosa stallion, and a solid coloured appaloosa has its merits in the show ring and as breeding stock. A good horse is never a bad colour, I cant guarantee you spots but I can guarantee you will have a beautiful horse with good limbs, and a brilliant temperament. With Appaloosa mares Amazing Technicolor has about 90% spotted stock which is very good you have a 50% chance of spots on a solid mare, and only 25% chance of a solid on a spotted mare.
