Pretty much wrote this one as I was singing it.Freedom...Old glory waves ..Red ..white and blue.Freedom is never free.It comes with the price of blood shed and the sacrifice of lifes.We have freedom in our country given to us by our military and the soldiers who fight that we may have this freedom.Then we are offered the greatest freedom of all,this freedom is found through Jesus who was lead through the streets,beaten,mocked,scorned and spit upon then nailed to the cross .The blood from his wounds,cleanses us of sin,frees us from bondage,gives us assurance,empowers us,forgives our sins and through our dying of old self,we live forever.Death has lost its sting!!!! May we each remember Christmas is not about a tree with its many decorations.Its not about Santa Clause and presents under a tree .Its not about all the flashing and blinking lights that our eyes can see.Its about the love and light we can find within ourselfs through Jesus who was sent by God.Jesus is the greatest gift of all!!!!! He lived...He died...He arose from the dead.He lives!!!!!Freeeeeeeedom!!!!!!
