Pretty wicked Wednesday out there! Its wet and windy and theres more of both to come. If you live across northern NB, theres more snow too! Winter storm warnings remain in effect from Edmundston over to Campbellton and Dalhousie to Bathurst. In those areas, you can expect another 15 cm of snow before it changes over to a mix, then to rain! The rain situation is also interesting...rainfall warnings remain in effect for the rest of us...with the exception of the eastern half of mainland NS and Cape Breton Island. And finally, the winds! Theyll be generally from the east...strongest in the east. We can expect frequent gusts to 70 km/h late today and tonight, with higher gusts - close to 90 over PEI. Of course the Les Suetes Winds will be even stronger with SE gusts close to 140 km/h late today and tonight from Margaree Harbour to Bay St Lawrence. The system will pull away tomorrow. Now there is always a silver lining... so here it is. I dont see a freeze up for a while; temperatures will stay above freezing for a few days..allowing things to dry out before they freeze up!
