Previously North Korean hackers made distributed denial of Services DDoS-attacks, in which stackers flood the sites with traffic until they fall offline. The Sony attack was far more sophisticated: It wiped data off Sonys computer systems, rendering them inoperable. The attacks underscored the importance of taking measures to rapidly detect cyberintrusions and promote resilience throughout all of networks. Every CEO should take this opportunity to assess their companys cyber security, Jeh C.Johnson, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
