Prez. Sirleaf graces Nigeria’s 100th anniversary celebration (mylbsonline/Liberia/Feb. 28, 2014)- A high-power Liberian Government delegation is currently in the Nigerian Capital, Abuja, attending the 100th Anniversary celebration of that country. The delegation is headed by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. According to Presidential Press Secretary, Jerelimick Piah, President Johnson-Sirleaf will speak on the topic, “Human Security and National Reconciliation –the Liberian Experience.” Our reporter travelling along with the Presidential delegation quotes Mr. Piah as having said: “The selection of the Liberian Leader to speak signifies a stronger friendship and collaboration between Liberia and Nigeria.” Nigeria’s 100th Anniversary Celebration will take place Thursday, February 27, 2014 throughout that country, with the official event taking place in the Nigerian Capital. The occasion is expected to be attended by several other African leaders and other dignitaries from around the world. According to our reporter, the Liberian Leader and delegation were met upon arrival in Abuja by Liberian Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Al Hassan Conteh. By Nathan Charles
