***Price Drop Alert*** (9.99-->4.99) Describe With Art. What an excellent app. This could be used in either speech therapy or just at home to get your children to learn how to describe things. In this app you can set up multiple children so it can be used in a classroom setting either working individually or in a group. I love the 2 sections either describe it or follow directions. The follow directions is great for starting out so children can hear how they describe objects and they have to find the correct object that has been described. Once they have completed enough they get a reward of being able to create their own art piece on a blank canvas. This is great for encouraging creativity. You could also ask the child to draw something in particular to see their interpretation of it, or just let them free draw. There are 5 sets in the follow directions. In the describe it section there are 7 topics to choose from including people, animal, food, clothes and more. Under each picture there are 5 options or different activities to get your child to try and describe the object shown as best they can. Again after they complete enough questions they again get to express themselves in art. This is not only great for working on speech therapy but also would be great use in art therapy to help encourage people to express themselves.
