Pricing of second hand equipment :- ok this may be a bit of a controversial post,But believe me its not meant to be,its not meant to upset people ,its just my observations.I have recently become a member of this great page and like to look at the second equipment for sale,but ive noticed that a lot people want close to full retail and on the odd occasion more than retail,tonight ive googled 9 items (and no im not going to say what they were) and in my opinion there was nowhere near enough of a saving to warrant buying them,there was one item at £205 plus postage that you can get for £235 including a 12 month warranty and delivery,and 5 of the other items were in the same boat. My question is what would you consider a far price to pay for a used item , say its a year old in good condition but has by the nature of the beast been out on the road say 60 times in that year,Im not quite sure why i want to know this other than i am puzzeled by the prices being asked for used gear,for instance when i cleared all my gear out i sold a set of speakers that cost nearly £1500 and had been used no more than 10 times for £350.00
