Pride Proverbs 16:5 (NKJV) Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; Though they join forces,[a] none will go unpunished. Proverbs 29:23 A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor. Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom. Galatians 6:3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. And they were haughty and committed abomination before Me; therefore I took them away as I saw fit. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
