Pride…pride...pride! A must read! This was the word God gave me all night long. Made me toss and turn because I didn’t want to hear it any more. So, here I am, at 7 in the morning writing what the SPIRIT of the LORD will lead to write. “Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall” Proverbs 16:18 Before, I was called out (John 10:16) from the religion I was in. I had to be obedient to my mother. Of course, she didn’t know better and wanted for me to become a good religious boy. She would force me to kneel in front of a statue to give it thanks. But, because mom could not read my mind…like God can. I would ask the figurine who are you? You cannot speak, hear, or even move! People in my pass religion depended on a priest (I will call him priest for now) to hear a sermon. None of us could test the sermon…to see if it was truth. For no one carried a bible into church! Yet, we were ready to battle anyone approaching us with bible knowledge. However, we could pass on or learn old traditions. Also, my mother wanted for me to learn the holy rosary. We were too proud to learn from the biblical God! Now, having studied the bible again and again…I can lead the prideful to some scriptures. To see…if they will believe old traditions or God’s Holy Word! You do not want to remain a Liberal to do your own thing…if you desire to enter Heaven. The following are scriptures from the bible: Deuteronomy 4:28, “And there you will serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell.” Matthew 23:9 “Do not call anyone on earth your father (referring to priest); for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.” Matthew 6:7, “And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.” Does Hail Mary sound familiar? When Deuteronomy 5:7 reads, “You shall have no other gods before Me.” Thus, do not be angry at me! For I fear the Lord enough to do HIS will. However, the Prideful can straighten out the biblical God…if, they possess mightier powers! Since it is not about you…but it is all about HIM!
