Priest Hangs Puppy from Tree in Argentina Gerardo Vogt, an Argentine Catholic priest, killed a puppy by hanging her from a tree in the shelter he runs for the elderly, women and children. The incident occurred on Thursday of last week in Fontana and became widely known after witnesses of the horrific scene posted pictures on social networks. "He always said that the dogs that were around the property bothered him. He woke up that day in a worse mood than usual and when he saw several animals together he started shooting at them with an air rifle. He then grabbed this puppy of about five months, placed the noose around her neck and hanged her from a tree in the center of the property, "said Gabriel Gomez. A worker from the shelter recently made a formal complaint at the local police station. In the complaint she wrote about the hanging of the dog and also said that Vogt kicked her in the stomach when she tried to take down the animal. Several children from the shelter, for whom the puppy was like a pet, witnessed the scene in horror. The case is under police investigation.
