Mining houses rebounded as data showed that China’s exports and imports rose strongly in July. Mondi jumped by 2.65% and Northam was 4.06% stronger. The US market closed the week slightly down. One or two smaller companies disappointed in terms of earnings. Positive Pointer: South African swimming veteran, Roland Schoeman, secured three gold medals from three starts in the Swimming World Cup.
