Prime Minister Dr Ruhakana Rugunda has urged the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA) to effectively use their knowledge and skills to collectively champion the cause of African unity and the democratic process in the country. He said the student movement across the continent should be focused on bridging the gap created through balkanisation and boundary formation by foreigners who had no interest in Africa. The Premier made the remarks while presiding over the Uganda National Students Association Alumni dinner at Hotel International, Dr. Rugunda who was President of the National Union of Students of Uganda (NUSU) while Student at Makerere University saluted the NRM Government for creating a conducive environment for normal student activism.
