Prime Minister Narendra Modi has formulated a secretive plan to nab the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast accused underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in his abode in Pakistan. The plan is similar to the operation led by US forces to catch al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, according to sources. Modi has designed a full-fledged plan to nab the dreaded don Dawood who was responsible for the killing of 257 people in the Mumbai bomb blasts in 1993, sources said. The Prime Minister’s all round plan will take off at different levels which could see Indian military carrying out an operation to nab Dawood in his abode. The plan also includes carrying out surveillance on the don, using inputs from Intelligence Bureau and exerting diplomatic pressures on Pakistan from Indian and US authorities. The operation could be much similar to the one carried out by US military in which Osama was killed in his hideout in Abbottabad in Pakistan. Modi’s plan is aimed at cornering Dawood from all ends and using pinpoint military action. The government is using the feed from Intelligence Bureau and Research and Analysis Wing to locate Dawood’s whereabouts and has even intercepted some of his calls. According to sources, the government has already been able to trace the exact location of Dawood in Pakistan on the basis of the don’s three calls that were intercepted by the Indian intelligence agencies. Some of the talks were even linked to the recent IPL fixing scam.
