Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has reaffirmed that government will never interfere in the affairs of any religious organisation. Bainimarama made the comments at Korovou today. FBC News reporter is in Korovou and filed this report: “Government will never at any time interfere with any religious belief as it is clearly protected under the 2013 constitution. Bainimarama made the comments while commissioning the new Korovou crematorium and a waiting shed and a water tank. The two projects was funded by the government at a cost of over $74,000. The facility here at Matacula in Tailevu was falling apart and was not safe for people who came to farewell their loved ones. Bainimarama says his government responded to the request and delivered what they promised.
