Prime Minister’s ‘Man ki Baat’ through Akashvani It - TopicsExpress

Prime Minister’s ‘Man ki Baat’ through Akashvani It refers to Prime Minister’s ‘Man ki Baat’ message to people of this nation through Akashvani at 11 am on 3rd October 2014, the first in the series started on auspicious day of Vijayadashmi (Dussehra). Narender Modi stressed much on people sending their suggestions by writing directly to him. But in present days of fast e-mail and internet service where written letters have become things of past, Prime Minister’s Office should have an e-mail ID where messages with some maximum character-limit of say 4000 characters may be directly e-mailed to Prime Minister providing a registration-number for each message sent. Earlier there used to be an e-mail ID [email protected] which was disabled after Narender Modi took charge as Prime Minister. Present system ‘Chat with Prime Minister’ on Prime Minister’s website has very inadequate 1000-character limit that too for just sixteen subjects. Such messages of Prime Minister under ‘Man ki Baat’ series should be broadcast and telecast live simultaneously by all channels of Radio and Television including private ones for a wider impact also because most household especially in urban areas now do not have radio-sets. Prime Minister should also initiate a new system to hold a monthly press-conference to be telecast and broadcast live.
