Prince Harry and Isla Fisher named hottest red heads - As the rise of the redheads continues, poll from BHF reveals most attractive stars - A survey out today from the British Heart Foundation (BHF) has revealed the most attractive red heads with loveable rogue Prince Harry and star of the silver screen, Isla Fisher emerging on top. The poll was commissioned by the BHF to mark its annual fundraiser, ‘Ramp up the Red’, taking place today, where the British public are asked to fundraise by wearing red to join the fight against coronary heart disease, the UK’s single biggest killer. When asked to choose their favourite fiery-haired stars, those polled from the East of England rated the following men as the 10 most attractive: 1. Prince Harry 2. Damian Lewis from Homeland 3. Michael Fassbender 4. Benedict Cumberbatch 5. Eddie Redmayne 6. Rupert Grint 7. Ed Sheeran 8. Greg Rutherford, Olympian Gold Medallist 9. Simon Pegg 10. Tim Minchin, comedian The most attractive auburn-haired women were as follows: 1. Isla Fisher 2. Nicole Kidman 3. Alyson Hannigan 4. Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud 5. Ginger Spice/ Geri Halliwell, of the Spice Girls 6. Marcia Cross, Desperate Housewives 7. Julianne Moore 8. Florence of Florence and the Machine 9. Lindsay Lohan 10. Christina Hendricks, starred as Joan from Mad Men CHD is responsible for the deaths of 7,230 people each year in the East of England. There are currently 2.3 million people in the UK living with CHD, including 200,365 people in the East of England. Last year, the people of the East of England was part of raising a grand total of over £300,000 during the BHF’s red fundraiser in February to support the BHF’s life-saving research. These funds contributed to £47.4million of active research grants that the BHF currently have in operation in the East of England. Polly Shute, Fundraising Project Director at the BHF, said: ““Red heads know how to stand out from the crowd. Join them today by going as red as you dare. You can make your red statement by dyeing your hair red or wearing a red wig to show your support! It’s easy to do and you will be helping to raise funds that will go directly towards vital research, support and care for the 2.3 million people in the UK living with heart disease.” Ramp up the Red helps the BHF continue its fight for every heartbeat.
