Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall visited the Canadian - TopicsExpress

Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall visited the Canadian Consulate General in Monterrey (MNTRY) yesterday, to celebrate the newly co-located U.K. Consulate in the Canadian facility. Visit was an opportunity to meet with the staff and guests of both consular representations, and to unveil a plaque to commemorate the visit and the co-location project. The royal couple and delegation was greeted by MXICO Ambassador, Sara Hradecky, and Monterrey Consul General Jean Pierre Hamel and guided through the co-located facility. The Prince and Duchess dedicated a significant amount of time to chat informally with the staff of the Canadian and U.K. missions and a selected number of guests, and obviously enjoyed this social part of their program. The visit to the CAN-UK posts also included the unveiling of a plaque in the lobby of the ConGen to commemorate their visit on the occasion of this new co-location project.
