Princess Echo had always been admired by the entire Moquin kingdom. Whether it be her long antennae or the numerous black dots on her shell, it was no doubt that she was the most beautiful ladybug in all the kingdom. And her parents knew it. They cherished Princess Echo so much that they kept her within the castle of the King and Queen to protect their dear girl. No one knew why the King and Queen were so protective of their child. But, her journey to this land had been kept a secret from all who praised her. It began with a curse that a revengeful aphid put on Lady B, Princess Echo’s mother. Lady bugs are known for birthing many, many children throughout their life and after the aphids entire family had been eaten one day by Lady B, the aphid cursed her by taking away her gift of childbirth. But, the queen longed for a daughter . So, the King traveled far and wide through the great land of Applecross in search for an orphaned ladybug. And that is how Princess Echo found her way into royalty. Her father vowed to keep her safe from any harm for this was his only heir.
