Principal Mr. K. C. Pandey Message on the occasion of Felicitation by Staff on September 07, 2013 at 6:30 pm in school campus Dearest colleagues I am deeply touched. Whatever I am today is all because of you. Medals and malice are my true friends. They follow each other in my life. First President Medal I got in 1979 when I topped in M.Ed. in NCERT College. Credit for this Medal goes to my parents and my hard work. Today’s Medal is your hard work sincerity and dedication. This award is yours; Each one of you has contributed for this and special efforts were put in by the wing heads and department heads. If Principal earns medal it is because of its staff only. Each one of you “played your role in perfect manner, so I dedicate this to you all”. 2013 has been worst for me and my school. September brought a peace of mind to me. Seeing the developments I had no hope of receving this medal. I left this place on 1st September for thorough medical checkup. On 2nd September night got information about his award with instructions that not to be told to anyone till I receive the Medal. My lovers played their game with full strength to malice my image. They tried to prove me the most corrupt person of Haridwar but failed because I had your best wishes and God’s kindness. एक पुराने छात्र ने इस दौरान मुझे मेसेज लिखा "सत्य परेशान हो सकता है परास्त नही. Dear friends for National Awards from CBSE criteria have changed tremendously in 10 years. It has become very tough now. As we know all teachers / Principals of Public School do well and compete strongly with each other. I had never been to CBSE Allahabad in my life never to CBSE Delhi or HRD Ministry Government of India before 3rd September 2013. For me: You, were my CBSE Allahabad, You were my CBSE Delhi, You were my HRD Ministry so this is how I am the winner of this award. God has always taken the toughest tests in my life. My simple pieces of advices on this occasion: 1. Be true to yourself, true to your organization and true to your God 2. Keep on collecting such like awards, certificates (which you are getting today), attend CBSE & DPS Society workshops, your original write-up or compositions or articles. Initiate in atleast one new thing. All these make your profile strong for National Award (in addition to this, strong recommendations of Head of the organization). Our (National Award of Teachers 2012) honour programme was as follows: 1. On 3rd September Hon’ble Prime Minister’s residence: Welcome Interaction / address by Hon’ble Prime Minister and high tea at 4:00 pm 2. On 4th September whole Ministry of Education honoured us and hosted lunch for awardees and their spouses in Vigyan Bhawan. It is Life time achievement: as everyone can’t go inside Vigyan Bhawan. 3. Hon’ble President of India awarded medal and HRD planned special visit to Mughal Garden for awardees and their spouses. Your whole family gets this honour. Mrs. Uma Pandey and my daughter Ms. Navadha Pandey (Ex-DPS Ranipur) and I got the opportunity to attend it. I whole heartedly thank you all for help, support and this celebration. Special love and affection to Ms. Poonam Dhiman for organizing this show. Very very sincere thanks and blessings to Mr. Sant Sharma and Mr. Ravi Shankar who dug out informations and prepared my profile. Special thanks to Ms. Namita Johri for looking after the school and Mr. Pavinder Singh for taking care of the Estate of DPS in my absence. Thank you very much and God Bless.
