Priolo Again! As has so often been the case in recent years, Andrew Priolo has once again taken out the win, this time at Manjimup Speedway in the third round of the West Coast Series. Priolo was all class all night as he claimed a heat win, then the Top 8 Dash before going on to score the win in the twenty lap feature event. He crossed the line ahead of Mark House in second and Matt Higgs in third. Tom Hooper had been up there with the leaders until he tangled with a lapped car and his race came to an end early. Veteran Bill Richards was another of the six cars who were unable to finish the race after he cannoned into the fence, causing significant damage to his machine. Earlier in the night, the opening heat went to Trystan Caley in a huge victory, defeating second placed David Sinagra by over five seconds. Priolo, Saffin and Hooper were the other heat victors. Mark House now has a seventy five point buffer in the West Coast Series pointscore, with Andrew Priolo in second. Jeremy Saffin is just one point behind Priolo in third, while Trystan Caley and Matt Higgs round out the top five. The West Coast Series now has a break before their next round at Pithara Speedway on the 17th of January.
