Private J.J. Brighouse, East Lancashire Regiment, signed on at 15, fought at Gallipoli, 75 per cent of his unit where either killed, wounded or missing, posted back to the UK and was then attached to the Lancashire Fusiliers sent to flanders and was wounded on the Somme on 3rd of September he died of his wounds the day after, 4th September 1916 aged just 18, he was my Grandads brother, my Great uncle and my Mothers uncle,both of us never met him, on behalf of my Mother and my own family thank you.
