Private Tuition Trend for the English Medium Students: (An analysis by AKS...) English Medium Schools usually take hefty school fees per month, on top of their huge demand for Development Fees, Admission Fees and in many cases, underhand Lucrative donations!. GOVERNMENT IS VERY MUCH AWARE OF IT BUT REMAINS SPEECHLESSLY CALLOUS. The most painful issue is that after even such massive expenses being borne by the busy or confused or ambitious guardians, they are to run around for good private tutors for making their kids ready for better English, better scientific concepts, better overall knowledge and better competitiveness!....Is it that the competition is so stiff that schools fails to cope up with, even after giving their best efforts? or, the root of the scourge is somewhere else? My intimate study (after having discussed the issue rigorously with many guardians of varying profiles, calibers and capacities) reflects the following roots of this deep rooted social crisis in India now: 1. Classes are not conducted seriously or the teachers are unable to create interests in young minds (Barring a few exceptions). 2. Sincere students too, gradually become irritated of spending hours together in majorly unproductive trainings, except one or two good classes, a day. 3. The outwardly strictness of attendance and discipline is more degenerative, with callous teaching backdrop. 4. Teachers are possibly not duly remunerated compared to the claimed standard of the school and its fees structure. (Dirty profit making culture narrowing down basic objective of imparting education). 5. Besides (4) above, whether there is any policy game of the school authorities in terms of ignoring building up Indian Educated Youth is a confusing issue, that continues to poke the analytic minds of the quality guardians. Government of India is ignorant and sleeping briskly turning a perfectly bind eye and deaf ear towards this entire garbage process. Naturally, Guardians are bound to run after Good Private Tutors to train their kids to the desired level to withstand the steep competition of present day.. Is it at all welcome? Look, if you pay hefty private tuition fees, you dont receive any income tax rebate for that! Middle class guardians, if honest, find it a deadly pressure to cope up with this unhealthy trend of the countrys education system now, particularly since state boards, if any, do not stand strong in terms of syllabus etc., to provide requisite competitiveness. Should the Government not wake up and completely restructure the whole school education system, or else the budding youth of this country will remain deprived of quality education right from the beginning and naturally, higher education and research, and thereby, countrys overall progress will remain seriously bottle-necked as an unfortunate resultant of the integrated overall callousness and apathy...You may share your own experience and opinion too...
