Privatisation is not a bad thing at all but the regime & those who - TopicsExpress

Privatisation is not a bad thing at all but the regime & those who were given the responsibility engaged & brokered with investors who did not come to Zambia to do business with Zambians for Zambia but to take advantage of Zambians. You negotiated long term rebates for them at the expense of poor wages for your own people.Considering what has come to pass, its evident that its either you deliberately decided not to put up measures that would have protected the profits made by these investors to be recapitalized into the country or you were just incompetent for the task..What was meant to be our money was daily transmitted out of the country without Zambians benefiting..These investors after the expiry of the rebate period refused to come out of their comfort Zone & either left us yawning or tpushed the cost of doing business to the consumers with the help of the architects of the privatization scheme. We have for a number of years witnessed & experienced high prices & as if to add salt to the injury your schemes employed middlemen & I wonder how middlemen can reduce the cost of doing business. You have no right to even talk about high prices because PF is undoing the plunge you put us into by implementing a fair business environment & its a cost mind you that we Zambians are sacrificing now for a better tomorrow. So tell me.How can Zambians trust you that you will work for the benefit of Zambians?Did you show your human heart when you were busy giving rebates to international investors without considering the same incentives to local business houses & the exploited local employee?Whose interest were you representing? If you dont have answers & I know you dont..DONT EVER TALK ABOUT PRICE INCREASE OR SERVING THE ZAMBIAN PEOPLE...Fellow Zambians reflect & ensure that you give the vote to PF who have worked tirelessly in only 3 years to reverse the sufferings of ALL Zambians.
