Privatization update: Housing Privatization Update - Balfour-Beatty Communities (BBC) invites all military families to a Housing Privatization Town Hall meeting at the Base Theater on Tuesday, July 9, at either 9 a.m. or 6 p.m. All base housing residents are encouraged to attend the Town Hall meeting to see firsthand the incredible improvements planned for Cannon housing in the near future. In preparation for the transition, all residents of Joe Cannon Estates, Chavez West & Chavez Manor housing are reminded to sign a lease with BBC before July 15. With only two weeks left to accomplish this goal, BBC will hold lease signing sessions during 8 - 12 July at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily at the Base Theater. If you previously signed a lease with BBC, there is no further action required and your lease will take effect on Aug. 1, 2013. Residents are also asked to visit with 27 SOCPTS to complete paperwork to start your BAH and set up an allotment for rent payment.
