Privilege to have David Burrowes MP for Enfield Southgate as speaker at this mornings assembly. Pupils learned about the work of an MP, the history of some parliamentary traditions and how they themselves can get involved and make a difference, starting in their local area. Especially interesting for Year 10 students who are looking at the whole topic of government this term in PSHE. Pupils were also challenged to stand up for what they believe in, however hard it might be.
