Priyamvada ji Daughter of Pt.Husanlal ( composer Husanlal BhagatRam fame). was one of the chief Guest at our musical event Romantic Rafi Melodies. She is herself a trained singer and she sang few lines from the songs created by her father for Rafi Sahab and the crowed was just mesmerized.. Rafi sahab got recognition from this very popular song composed by the first ever Jodi in the Hindi film Music Husanlal Bhagat Ram.after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi and It was a huge hit. Suno Suno E Duniya Walon Bapu ki Amar Kahani This song brought him close to Pandit Nehru who called him at his residence and gave a silver coin as token of appreciation for his rendition. Then another song Ek Dil ke tukde hazar hue a sad song was also a great hit.. Pt. Husan Lal Ji was not only a composer but himself a great violinist and a classical Singer and started a Guru Shishya Parampara in bollywwod by training great talents like Pyarelal ji , Shankar Jaikisthan Ji and Khayyam Sahab, Thanks to Priyamvada Ji for being part of this show.with Binu Nair and Priyamvada Vashishta
