Pro tip for a clever lead guitar effect that cant be attained any other way, not even with reversed delay: record a guitar lead as normal. Use your DAW to reverse the audio. Listen to it backwards and re-learn the melody as it sounds in reverse. Re-record the lead after learning how it sounds backwards, then reverse THAT. It will play forward with the phrasing / timing you originally intended, but with an interesting reversed attack. Ive used this technique with Aegaeon and other bands productions - very cool sound, give it a try!
