Proactive Athletic Therapy provides professional and personalized health care for both athletes and any active individuals that wish to improve their sport or work performance, functional ability and quality of life. Our team includes Athletic Therapists, Osteopathic candidate athletic therapist and Registered Massage Therapists. We are in an ideal location within a professional plaza that includes family physicians, dentists, optometrists and accountants. The clinic is in the town of Carleton Place, Ontario, which is about 20 minutes west of Kanata/Ottawa. Our active patient load is drawn from family physician referrals, local sport programs and clubs and word of mouth. Our treatments are all hands-on. We do not have electrical modalities. We are looking to expand our team with another Certified Athletic Therapist. This position is part-time, but has the potential to become full-time. It is mostly clinical treatments, but may have field opportunities.
