Probably my favorite film of 2013, 20 FEET FROM STARDOM is joyful & heartbreaking in equal measures. The music biz documentary is currently streaming on Netflix. I cannot recommend it enough. Darlene Loves contribution to film is considerable. The singer tells a tale of falling so far down from the show biz ladder that she was cleaning houses for a living, no shame it that. Love found herself cleaning a rich womans toilet while hearing her own Christmas hit on the radio playing in another room. The client having no idea that the singer was on her hands & knees in the clients very own bathroom. Since 1986, Love has performed her Christmas classic on Lettermans show.
