Probably the last news from Chris- our little champions all got to Stella Point, and 7 reached Uhura Peak. There had only been phone contact between the climbers and the others when Chris rang just now. They were expected to be reunited in a few hours, and the Moet was on ice ----- Just for the record, Im putting up what they will be doing tomorrow, their last day before commencing their homeward journey on Thursday after breakfast. Day 11. Today you will enjoy a game drive in the Arusha National Park. The entrance gate leads into montane forest inhabited by inquisitive blue monkeys and colourful turacos and black-and-white colobus monkeys. In the midst of the forest stands a spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, whose steep, rocky cliffs enclose a wide marshy floor dotted with herds of buffalo and warthog. Further north is the Momela Lakes, each one a different due of green or blue that are sometimes home to thousands of flamingos. Other animals in the park include giraffe, zebra, dik-dik, leopard and hyena. So lets hope they have a memorable day to cap off this amazing trip, Cant wait to see them all on Saturday.
