Probably the most important health decision in the life of your pet is the decision on what YOU FEED the animal. A part of being a responsible owner for your beloved pets is knowing exactly what kind of food is going in their body. To ensure the high quality of the food they are eating, it is important to make sure it is a COMPLETE BALANCED DIET i.e. read the ingredient list carefully. Many pet owners do not pay any attention to the ingredient list on the back of their pets food kibble, which is a big mistake that can cause harm to their pets health in both the short term and long term. As a pet owner who cannot tell anyone what kind of food it is eating, or what kind of ingredients are in it, make the change to get familiar with your pets food and be adamant for providing proper nutrition. All natural human grade ingredients is really the first thing what you should be looking for while reading the ingredients. The ingredients should be familiar to you such as deboned chicken/turkey/bison/duck, chicken/turkey/bison/duck meat, blueberries, pomegranate, good source of DHA etc. plus all necessary vitamins. While researching any brand, ensure the company sources its ingredients is locally. There are a few ingredients found in poor quality food that should be avoided to ensure that your pet remains healthy and strong for its lifetime with you. By doing this you prolong their life, avoid illnesses or a shorter duration of illness, and eventually lower your vet bills. A few of these ingredients are Animal digest, Poultry byproduct, Unspecified animal fat, fillers such as rice HULLS, oat HULLS, corn, gluten, soy; synthetic flavoring and preservatives such as ethoxyquin. Remember: An all natural diet/raw diet is not that simple. A poorly constructed all natural/raw diet is going to do more damage than good. GET INFORMED AND DO YOUR RESEARCH!
