Process Control Engineer Position Description: We are seeking a Computer Engineer to work with the Safaniya Technical Support Division under the Northern Area Technical Support Department. Safaniya Technical Support Division provides multidisciplinary engineering and technical assistance to Safaniya Onshore and Offshore Producing Facilities in support of oil and gas production. This support includes day-to-day engineering technical support for plant operation that includes plants equipment performance, process efficiency, control systems operation, design packages review and commissioning of new projects. Duties And Responsibilities: You will be required to perform the following: Administer, configure and maintain the Process Networks and Control Systems devices such as Windows based Servers and Workstations, Network Switches, Firewalls, and Routers. Analyze and document software requirement, prepare design specifications, create and implement test plans and support in the installation, startup and commissioning of PN&CS components. Minimum Requirements: As the successful candidate you will hold an Engineering degree from a recognized and approved program, strongly preferred in computer engineering. Must have minimum of five years experience in Process Networks and Control Systems; Must have Microsoft administration and CISCO or equivalent networking certification
